Ms. barnard practices in the areas of intellectual property, civil litigation and estate planning and probate. She is licensed to practice in Nevada’s state and federal courts. Prior to coming to Watson Rounds, Melissa worked at two of Nevada’s most well-regarded firms where she handled malpractice, personal injury, education, business, construction, employment and insurance defense litigation as well as estate planning, trust and probate matters. She also clerked for the Federal District Court for Nevada and externed for Judge Melvin T. Brunetti at the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Outside of the office, Melissa is known for her random, yet impressive knowledge of pop culture, history and sports trivia. She also enjoys skiing, camping and traveling with her family.
