Ms. Bechtold practices primarily in the area of intellectual property litigation and will preside over the San Francisco office. She is licensed in California’s state and federal courts.

Ms. Bechtold brings valued experience to the intellectual property department of Watson Rounds. Prior to joining the firm, Eliza spent three and half years as an associate at the Silicon Valley office of one of the world’s largest law firms, where she specialized in patent litigation and general corporate litigation.  In addition to representing Fortune 100 Technology Companies, Eliza has represented pro bono clients in various areas of civil litigation, including predatory lending and unlawful detainer proceedings.

Eliza graduated cum laude from Scripps College with a degree in Legal Studies and received her JD from UC Hastings College of the Law. 

Outside of the office, Eliza enjoys traveling, playing soccer, and rock climbing.
